Collision in Harwich Township 

A Blenheim man walked away with non-life threatening injuries after a collision in Harwich Township.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday when police responded to a collision on Sinclair Line involving an ATV and a dirt bike.

A 59-year-old Blenheim woman and a 32-year-old Blenheim man were both separate drivers in the incident.

Total damage is estimated around $5,000.

Woman arrested for breach of peace at local shelter 

A 35-year-old is in trouble with the law after an early morning incident.

Around 4:45 a.m. Saturday, the woman attended the Chatham Women’s Centre and was allegedly acting aggressively towards staff.

Officers were called to the scene and arrested her for breach of the peace. She was held in police custody and will be released at a later time.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
