Brockton raises Pride flag to celebrate Pride Month

The Municipality of Brockton has raised the Pride flag to celebrate Pride month.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brockton could not host an official Pride celebration, so Mayor Chris Peabody raised the flag on Monday, June 15 in a private ceremony in recognition of the LGBTQ+ community.

The flag is flying on the flagpole at Jackson and Yonge Streets in Walkerton and will be flown for the week in accordance with Brockton's Flag Etiquette and Protocol Policy.
