Huron Kinloss cancels some summer youth activities

Township of Huron-Kinloss says it was a difficult decision to cancel its 2020 Ripley Wolf Cub Summer Adventure Camp.

A release from the township said the decision was made following a review of the re-opening safety guidelines, public health measures; as well as, the provincial restrictions on recreational facilities related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ripley Summer Sports Committee has cancelled the soccer season, but no decision has been made yet for the baseball season.

The Lucknow Youth Summer Sports Camp is also cancelled for the 2020 season and all Lucknow summer sports have been cancelled.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
