UPDATE: Heat warning ends

This weekend is going to be a hot one for parts of southwestern Ontario.

On Friday afternoon, Environment Canada issued a heat warning for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, Sarnia-Lambton.

According to the weather agency, Saturday and Sunday temperatures are forecasted to climb up to 33C with the humidex ranging from 36C to 39C. The hot and humid weather could extend into Monday as well for certain areas.

Individuals are being reminded that extreme heat events can bring deteriorating air quality.

Environment Canada ended the heat warning on Sunday night.
