Lambton OPP charge Thamesville man with impaired driving

A 44-year-old man from Thamesville has been charged with impaired driving.

Lambton OPP initiated a traffic stop on Kimball Road in St. Clair Township on Saturday night, around 8:45 p.m.

It's alleged the driver consumed alcohol and was displaying signs of impairment.

He was taken to the Lambton OPP detachment where he provided samples over the legal limit.

The accused has a future court date in Sarnia set for August 24.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
