Outbreak declared over at long term care home in Chesley

Public health units covering the region reported no new cases of COVID-19 as of late Tuesday.

Huron Perth Public Health and Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reported no change in their case load.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported that the outbreak at Elgin Abbey in Chesley was declared over with no further transmission to any case past the first one.

All three units say while there are no new active cases, current cases being monitored are recovering.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
