Suspicious man arrested

A Chatham man subject of a suspicious person incident was arrested on a Breach of Probation warrant.

Officers transported the man to police headquarters where he was processed and released with conditions.

Woman destroys outdoor restaurant patio 

A female attended a local business and caused over $5,000 worth of damage to a patio area.

The woman who was intoxicated at the time vandalized tables, umbrellas, as well as outdoor wiring. Police were called and the woman attempted to flee.

Officers located her across the street at the 7-Eleven. She was arrested and taken into custody where she was held for bail.

Man violates release orders

Police arrested a male on two counts of Breach of Undertaking.

The man was brought to police headquarters to be processed and held for bail.

Police issue assault charge

Police received a complaint regarding an assault that took place between two people.

Following an investigation, one person involved was issued a future court day to answer to the assault charge.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
