Four more cases of COVID in Sarnia-Lambton

There's now 16 active cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton.

On its website Sunday night, Lambton Public Health reported four new confirmed cases of the virus, which brings the total number of cases to 336.

The number of resolved cases is 295, which went unchanged since Friday.

The death toll remains at 25.

The local health agency said 82 per cent of the new cases reported in the last two weeks have been linked to a known case, an outbreak, or travel.

Bluewater Health reported on its site Monday, that there are no positive patients in hospital and 15 are awaiting test results, including pre-surgical screening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
