COVID recoveries up one

The number of recovered cases of COVID-19 has gone up again in the last 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health reported one more resolved case Tuesday night for a total of 299.

The number of confirmed cases is unchanged at 336 and the death toll stands at 25.

The local health agency said 233, or 69 per cent of the total confirmed cases were reported in an urban setting, Sarnia, Bright's Grove and Point Edward.

Bluewater Health reported on its site on Wednesday that there are no COVID-19 positive patients in hospital and 17 are awaiting test results, including pre-surgical screening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
