Active COVID cases drop to 10

Lambton Public Health reported Friday night that the number of active cases of COVID-19, dropped by one to 10.

The number of confirmed cases remained unchanged at 336, with 301 of those resolved, up one from Thursday.

The death toll remains at 25.

Saturday Bluewater Health reported that there are no positive patients in hospital and 21 are awaiting test results, including pre-surgical screening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
