Active cases of COVID-19 drop by two

Lambton Public Health reported Friday night that the active cases of COVID-19 have dropped from four to two.

There are 338 confirmed cases of the virus and 311 of those have been resolved, up two.

The death toll remains at 25.

Bluewater Health reported on its website Saturday that there are no patients confirmed to have the virus in hospital. There are 17 patients, including pre-surgical screenings, awaiting test results.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
