North Wellington Healthcare updates hours and policies at COVID-19 assessment centres

North Wellington Healthcare has updated the hours and policies at its Rural Wellington COVID-19 assessment centres.

The assessment centre in Harriston at the Railway Station is now by appointment only with no more walk-ins, and the centre in Fergus at Groves Legacy Site is now walk-ins only. The Harriston assessment centre is open by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and the Fergus centre is now 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

There is also now a new website dedicated specifically to the Rural Wellington COVID-19 Assessment Centres. You can book appointments and find out more information on COVID-19 testing by visiting https://www.whcacovid.com/.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
