UPDATE: Power restored in CK

Power has been restored to 2,874 customers in Chatham-Kent after an outage was reported on Tuesday afternoon.

Entegrus posted on Twitter around 3 p.m., stating Hydro One experienced a power outage that affected Entegrus customers in Erieau.

The Hydro One outage map initially showed a few sparse power outages, however, the affected area expanded from the Erieau and South Buxton areas, up toward Kent Bridge.

There's no word on what caused the outage.

Power was originally expected to be restored by 5:45 p.m. and was later pushed to 7:45 p.m. However, power was fully restored to the area shortly after 6 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
