Big ENCORE prize winner in Bruce County

Anyone who bought a LOTTO MAX ticket with ENCORE in Bruce County for Tuesday night's draw should check their tickets.

Someone won a $1 million dollar ENCORE prize on a ticket sold in Bruce County.

It was one of several big winners from last night's draw.

The LOTTO MAX second prize worth $506,058.30 was also won by a ticket sold in Ottawa.

A winning MAXMILLIONS ticket from the October 6, 2020 draw was sold in Kingston.

Also, a $500,000 MAXMILLIONS winning ticket was sold in Vaughan as the $1 million prize was split with another ticket sold in Atlantic Canada. And a $100,000 ticket was sold in the Kawartha Lakes region.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $5.7 billion, including 77 jackpot wins and 614 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
