COVID-19 cases up slightly in Midwestern Ontario

COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario increased slightly Friday. The only new cases reported were two new cases in Kincardine.

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit says Friday's numbers include six active cases, but one newly resolved case.

There are no outbreaks at any long term care, school or daycare facilities in Midwestern Ontario. Also, there are no hospitalizations in the region.

Huron Perth Public Health reported the number of active COVID-19 cases dropped from six to five, as there were no additional positive tests Friday.

Public health again reported no new cases today in Wellington County where there are six active cases.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
