Grey Bruce Owen Sound home sales and prices see huge increase

Grey Bruce Owen Sound home sales are up by more than 30 per cent from a year ago.

The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound reported 384 homes changed hands last month, up from 294 units in September 2019.

The association said it is a sellers' market as the number of new listings is unchanged year over year.

The average price of a home sold in September was $502,000, up from 406,000 at the same time last year. That's an increase of 23.5 per cent.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
