New COVID-19 cases confirmed in Midwestern Ontario Monday

There are seven active cases in Grey Bruce, along with two preliminary positive tests, that still need to be confirmed. One person remains in hospital. There are no facility outbreaks.

Huron Perth Public Health is reporting five active cases of COVID-19 following the holiday weekend.

Four new cases were confirmed today, one in Perth East and three in Stratford.

There are no active outbreaks in Huron Perth Long Term Care Homes, Schools or Daycare Centres.

Since the pandemic began, 38 Health care workers have contracted the virus, and recovered.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports 28 newly confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus today, and 50 active cases.

That included two new cases in Wellington County, where there are a six active cases.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
