Four new COVID cases in Sarnia-Lambton

On Friday,  Lambton Public Health reported  four new cases and one more recovered case of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton.

There are 362 confirmed cases with 324 resolved and 13 active.

The death toll remains at 25.

Bluewater Health reported Friday that there is one patient in hospital with the virus with 23 patients currently in hospital with tests pending including pre-surgical screening.

The COVID-positive patient is a non-resident who remains in intensive care.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
