COVID figures unchanged in Sarnia-Lambton

There's been no change in the COVID-19 caseload in Sarnia Lambton.

Lambton Public Health reported Wednesday night that the active caseload sits at nine. There have been no new or resolved cases in the last 24 hours.

There are still two outbreaks in the community, one at Twin Lakes Terrace and the other at an unnamed workplace.

Bluewater Health reports there are no COVID positive patients currently in hospital while 18 are awaiting test results including pre-surgical screening.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
