Crime of the Week – October 22, 2020

On Sunday October 18th, 2020 at approximately 12:45am, two suspects attended the Car and Dog Wash on Park Avenue East in Chatham carrying a ladder.

One of the suspects used the ladder to access the roof where they forced their way into the building. Once inside the suspects attempted to pry open the change machine and were scared off when the alarm sounded.  Damages to the building are approximately $500.

If you saw two males walking in the area of Park Avenue East with a ladder and can identify them call Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-847, you could earn a cash reward.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
