UPDATE: Environment Canada warns of torrential rains and damaging winds

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch for Windsor and Essex County and Chatham-Kent.

Meteorologists had been tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

It said with the storms, residents should expect torrential downpours, a lot of lightning, and wind gusts, some of which could reach 90 km/h.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
