COVID recoveries up one in Sarnia-Lambton

The active COVID-19 caseload has gone down to six over the past 24 hours.

On its website Monday night, Lambton Public Health reported one more recovered case.

To date, the local health agency says 338 of the 369 confirmed cases of the virus have been deemed resolved. The death toll is unchanged at 25.

The health unit said there are still two active outbreaks, one at Twin Lakes Terrace Long Term Care Home in Sarnia, the other at an unnamed workplace.

Bluewater Health said there are no positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
