Public Health issues daily COVID-19 update for Midwestern Ontario

Huron Perth Public Health reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday for a total of four active cases. All three cases were at the Cedarcroft Place Retirement Home in Stratford, the first outbreak at a retirement home in the region.

Grey Bruce Public Health reported no new cases Wednesday. There are five active cases in the jurisdiction, but no outbreaks or hospitalizations.

Public Health officials reported one new case in Wellington County Wednesday, for seven active cases. Across the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health region, there were 11 new cases, for a total of 61 active cases of COVID-19.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
