UPDATE: Second COVID patient admitted to Bluewater Health

Two patients with COVID-19 are now being treated at Bluewater Health.

Communications Chief Julia Oosterman said Monday that a 72-year-old male was admitted from his home a few days ago, and the virus was confirmed in test results Sunday night.

A resident at Fiddicks Retirement Home in Petrolia tested positive for the virus late last week and was transferred to Bluewater Health.

Lambton Public Health reports three active cases in the community and the one outbreak at Fiddicks.

The local health agency said 344 of the 372 confirmed cases locally are considered resolved. The death toll is unchanged at 25.
