Driver involved in fatal crash identified

Chatham-Kent police have identified the driver killed in a collision in Thamesville over the weekend.

A single-vehicle crash was reported around 10 p.m. Saturday on Smoke Line near Huffs Side Road.

Police said 51-year-old Robert Miller of Bothwell was pronounced dead at the scene. Miller was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

"Members of the Chatham-Kent Police offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Miller," the Chatham-Kent Police Service said in a news release issued Monday.

The crash is still under investigation.
