UPDATE: Third COVID patient admitted to Bluewater Health

A third COVID-19 patient has been admitted to hospital in Sarnia.

Bluewater Health Communications Chief Julia Oosterman said a 62-year-old woman was recently admitted from her home.

None of the three patients are in ICU at this time.

Lambton Public Health reported four active cases of the virus on its website Monday night.

An outbreak continues at Fiddick's Retirement Home in Petrolia where one resident tested positive late last week, and was transferred to Bluewater Health.

Since March 25, there's been 373 confirmed cases, 344 recoveries and 25 related deaths.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
