Students at school in Bruce County clear isolation

A number of students who attend Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton are clear to return to school after being considered at high-risk in connection with a COVID-19 case.

The initial case associated with the school was reported on October 22, and two classes were identified as high-risk and required to self-isolate for 14 days.

There were 44 high-risk contacts identified and all have completed 14 days of isolation as of Tuesday. Public Health identified no school bus routes related to this case.

Currently, there are no COVID-19 outbreaks in any schools or childcare centres in Grey and Bruce.

In Grey and Bruce, there are currently six active cases and no new cases were reported late Monday.
