COVID cases up one in Sarnia-Lambton

There's now five active cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton.

On its website Tuesday night, Lambton Public Health reported one more confirmed case of the virus up to 374.

The local health agency reported no change to the number of recoveries which sits at 344. The death toll stands at 25.

Tuesday morning, Bluewater Health reported three COVID positive patients in hospital.

An outbreak continues at Fiddick’s Retirement Home in Petrolia where one resident tested positive late last week, and was transferred to Bluewater Health.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
