One new COVID case reported in Lambton Thursday

Lambton Public Health is reporting one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Thursday.

The local health agency said there are now six active cases of the virus.

An outbreak declared on October 30 at Fiddick's Retirement Home in Petrolia is still in place after one resident tested positive.

The resident is one of three patients in hospital according to Bluewater Health.

Since March 25, the health unit says there's been 375 confirmed cases, 344 recoveries and 25 deaths.

As of November 5, Lambton Public Health has changed the timing of its daily COVID-19 updates.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
