Sarnia-Lambton still reporting nine active COVID cases

The local COVID-19 caseload is holding steady.

Lambton Public Health reported no change to the number of confirmed cases or recoveries on its website Wednesday morning.

There are nine active cases across Sarnia-Lambton.

Since March 25, the local health agency says 347 of the confirmed 381 infections have been deemed resolved and the death toll stands at 25. There are two positive patients in hospital according to Bluewater Health.

An outbreak declared on October 30 continues at Fiddick's Retirement Home in Petrolia after one resident tested positive for the virus.

The Lambton Kent District School Board is still reporting one case linked to Riverview Central School in Port Lambton. The elementary school is open.
