Number of COVID-19 cases and recoveries both increase

Lambton Public Health reported two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 Sunday morning, as well as two more recoveries.

To date, there's been 386 confirmed cases of the virus in Sarnia-Lambton, of which 352 have been deemed resolved, leaving the active caseload at nine.

The death toll is unchanged at 25.

On its website Sunday, Bluewater Health reported one positive patient in hospital.

The Lambton Kent District School Board says there's still one case linked to Riverview Central School in Port Lambton.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
