COVID-19 Cases Spike in Grey Bruce

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit reported twelve new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Wednesday. Seven are in Arran-Elderslie , two in Kincardine, and one each in Hanover Owen Sound and Southgate. Three people are now in hospital. There are 49 active cases, with another six Active Probable Cases. And there are 245 High Risk Contacts associated with active cases.

Huron Perth Public Health reported just one new case of COVID-19 today in North Perth, but also referred one case to another health unit. . There are 30 active cases, and the outbreak continues at Cedarcroft Retirement in Stratford.

In Wellington County, Public health officials added 12 more cases to the positive list for a total of 65 active cases. There have been four fatalities. One person is in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
