Second COVID patient admitted to Bluewater Health

Bluewater Health is reporting that a second COVID-19 positive patient has been admitted to the Sarnia hospital.

Communications Chief Julia Oosterman said on November 22, a 64-year-old man was admitted from another unnamed hospital.

Bluewater Health also said 18 patients are awaiting test results, including pre-surgical screening.

The active caseload in Sarnia-Lambton has dropped to 16.

In its daily update, Lambton Public Health says there's one more confirmed case for a total of 405, but recoveries have increased by two to 364.

As of Saturday, November 21, the local health agency has received results from 56,140 tests, of which less than one per cent (0.72) have been positive for the virus.
