COVID cases up three, recoveries up four

Sarnia-Lambton's COVID-19 figures saw a jump of three cases and four recovered cases over the past 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health's update Saturday morning showed 407 confirmed cases, 368 resolved and 25 deaths, leaving 14 active cases.

On Friday, the health unit announced Sarnia-Lambton will be elevated from the green to the yellow “protect” level in the province’s COVID-19 response framework as of 12:01 a.m. Monday.

Bluewater Health has two positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
