COVID cases unchanged Sunday

Sarnia-Lambton’s COVID-19 numbers were unchanged Sunday, keeping the active cases at 14.

Lambton Public Health’s update had 407 confirmed cases, 368 resolved and 25 deaths.

The Sarnia-Lambton community will be elevated from the green to the yellow “protect” level in the province’s COVID-19 response framework as of 12:01 a.m. Monday -- the local health unit made that announcement Friday.

As of Sunday, Bluewater Health reported two positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
