Active COVID cases up two in Sarnia-Lambton

The active COVID-19 caseload in Sarnia-Lambton inched higher Monday morning.

Lambton Public Health is reporting three more confirmed cases of the virus, up to 410. The number of resolved cases is up by one to 369, resulting in 16 active cases.

No related deaths have been reported in Sarnia-Lambton since June 6, and the death toll stands at 25.

Bluewater Health has one positive patient in hospital.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is still reporting three cases among its students at St. Patrick's High School.

As of Monday morning, Sarnia-Lambton was under the yellow "protect" level in the province's COVID-19 response framework.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
