Active COVID case count drops by two in Sarnia-Lambton

The local COVID-19 caseload has dropped from 16 to 14.

Lambton Public Health reported two more confirmed cases Tuesday morning, up to 412, and four more resolved cases now at 373.

The local health agency said there are currently no outbreaks and the death toll stands at 25.

There's one positive patient in hospital according to Bluewater Health.

As of Monday, Sarnia-Lambton was under the yellow "protect" level in the province's COVID-19 response framework.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
