Active COVID-19 caseload holds steady at 22

The local active caseload of COVID-19 is holding steady at 22.

In its daily update Sunday, Lambton Public Health reported one more confirmed case of the virus up to 427, and one more resolved case now at 380.

The last related death was reported six moths ago on June 6, and the death toll stands at 25.

There's one workplace outbreak reported involving two positive cases.

On Saturday, Shell Canada confirmed an outbreak had been declared at the Corunna plant.

On its website Sunday, Bluewater Health reported there are no COVID-19 positive patients in hospital.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
