Sarnia-Lambton COVID case count increases by seven

The number of COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton increased by seven Tuesday and there were two more recoveries.

Lambton Public Health reported 25 active infections in its daily update, up from 20 on Monday.

The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic climbed to 434 with the resolved cases at 384.

The death toll stands at 25, unchanged since June 6.

The number of cases in the Shell Corunna workplace outbreak remained at two.

The Lambton Kent District School Board's COVID-19 Advisory page is still reporting two student cases linked to Northern High School.

Bluewater Health is still reporting no positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
