Home damaged in Leamington fire

Investigators are looking into a house fire Tuesday night in Leamington.

Leamington firefighters responded to a call shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Talbot Street West between Lewis Lane and M C R Drive. Smoke was seen pouring from a balcony in the rear of the structure.

Essex County OPP also responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported. A cause and damage estimate were not immediately available, but an investigation team was on scene to gather evidence.
