Midwestern Ontario's COVID-19 situation for Christmas Eve

Public Health officials in Wellington County reported another four cases of COVID-19 Thursday. There are 37 active cases and two people are hospitalized.

Across Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health jurisdiction, there were 60 cases of COVID-19 Thursday, for 312 active cases. Eleven people are in hospital.

Huron Perth Public Health reported eight new cases Thursday, and 53 active cases. Four people are hospitalized. A new outbreak has been reported at Hillside Manor in Perth East, meaning three long term care and one retirement home are in outbreak, along with Listowel Memorial Hospital.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
