COVID-19 cases reported at Listowel Drug Store

Loblaw Companies is publishing a list of locations where team members have tested positive for COVID-19, and a Listowel location is reporting a sick staff member.

An employee at Shoppers Drug Mart on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel tested positive December 29th. The worker was last on the job December 22nd.

The company says they are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19. They are working with public health to ensure required cleaning and sanitization is completed, and close contacts of the patient are notified.

The company says they are working diligently to provide essential goods and services, while taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
