Chatham man claims $75K lotto win

A Chatham man wasn't able to pick-up his lottery prize in-person, but he is cashing in on $75,620 after winning the second prize in a recent Lotto Max draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said Gordon Szusz won with a Lotto Max ticket for the draw on December 18, 2020.

The OLG said Szusz participated in a virtual prize claim event as the number of in-person claim appointments have been reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The winning ticket was purchased at Daisy Mart on Grand Avenue in Chatham.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto is currently only open to customers who "require a face-to face interview." People who have won over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss claim options.
