Repeat offender on the loose

The Ontario Provincial Police is warning the public to be on the lookout for a repeat offender who has links to Chatham-Kent.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking the public for help to find Rashane Jarrett, who is known to frequent the Chatham area. Jarrett is also known to visit the Oshawa, Ajax, and Scarborough areas.

He's wanted on three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failing to comply with the court orders of his release, and failure to attend court.

Jarret is described as a black male, 32 years old, 5'6", 150 pounds with a tattoo sleeve on his right arm from the shoulder to the bicep and a tattoo on his left forearm with the word "LOVE".

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
