Grey Bruce adds five new COVID-19 cases

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added five new cases to the list of active COVID-19 infections Friday. Two people are in hospital and one of them is intubated.

Two new cases were in Brockton, and one each in Grey Highlands, South Bruce, and Hanover.

There are 32 active cases and one Probable Cases. They have 64 Active High Risk Contacts.  There are no outbreaks, and there have been no fatalities.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
