OPP cruiser crashes on Fairview Line in CK

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a rollover crash in Chatham-Kent involving an OPP cruiser.

An OPP spokesperson confirmed with Blackburn News Wednesday morning that one of their officers was involved in the single vehicle collision in the area of Fairview Line between Mull Road and Kent Bridge Road. CK police added that it took place just before 7 a.m.

Initial reports indicated that the vehicle ended up in a field.

Police said the officer involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.
