No new COVID cases in Grey Bruce Thursday

The Medical Officer of Health for Grey Bruce is congratulating residents after reporting no new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.

The Grey Bruce health Unit reports 26 active and one probable case today, along with 83 high risk contacts. One Person is in hospital.

There has been one death during the pandemic due to the virus. There are no outbreaks.

There have been 628 resolved cases.  The virus infected 78 healthcare workers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
