Breaching Bail Conditions

A 24 year-old Blenheim man is facing charges after a vehicle stop on February 14. Police stopped a vehicle around 11 p.m. Sunday. The driver was found to be breaching court ordered bail conditions. Police said the suspect resisted arrest but was successfully taken into custody.

He is facing charges of Fail to Comply, Resist Arrest, and Assault a Police Officer. He is being held pending a bail hearing.

Intoxication Charge

A 19 year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges after a complaint call in Wallaceburg. Police responded to a complaint of an unwanted person at a home just after midnight on Sunday.

There, they found a heavily intoxicated man who they said was acting confrontational with area residents. Police said he was too intoxicated to care for himself. The man was arrested and charged under the Liquor License Act. He was later released when sober.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
