School buses cancelled in Chatham-Kent

Poor road conditions have prompted school bus cancellations across all zones in Chatham-Kent for the full day Tuesday.

All schools will still be open for the day.

The cancellations follow a snowfall warning that was issued over the weekend for much of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada still has a snowfall warning in place for Sarnia-Lambton, but it has ended for Chatham-Kent. Blowing snow is also causing drifting across area roadways.

Drivers are also being urged to slow down and to take extra caution on the roads.
