Winter Weather Travel Advisory issued for parts of Southern Ontario

A Winter Weather Travel Advisory is still in place for Oxford County, but it has ended for much of southwestern Ontario.

The alert was first issued by Environment Canada on Sunday as forecasters were calling for a band of snow to move across the area tonight and continue through until early Monday morning.

The advisory ended for Middlesex-London, Sarnia-Lambton Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and Elgin County at around 7:30 a.m. Monday.

Environment Canada said the Monday morning commute will likely be impacted and drivers are advised to use extra caution on the roads.
